The Campbell McLaurin Foundation for Hearing Deficiencies is a charity created by Chief Justice Campbell McLaurin's generous gift. It is here to help people who are hard of hearing who fit the income requirements mentioned by CMF (Campbell McLaurin Foundation), as explained below.
Campbell McLaurin was an important person in the legal world. He became a judge in Alberta's Supreme Court in 1942 and later became the Chief Justice of the Trial Division in 1952. He was even the first Chancellor of the University of Calgary. Chief Justice McLaurin retired in 1968 and passed away in April 1981.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
FUNDING MAXIMUM
The maximum CMF award for Safety Alerting/Assistive Equipment is $1,000.00.
Applicants are eligible for funding through CMF every 5 years unless there are exceptional circumstances. Supporting documentation must be provided.
Exceptions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
In most cases, approval takes a maximum of 1 to 2 weeks. You will receive an award letter by email.
